ABOUT

Hello, I'm Dela

I’m an English teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching adults and kids. I hold a Master’s in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and have taught English in schools, community centers, and online. After taking time off to raise my two boys, I returned to teaching English in 2019. I helped transition my church’s English program online during the pandemic and began working with students on reading and pronunciation. I love teaching  and seeing my students read, speak, and grow in English. Outside of class, I love reading books for book club, going for runs with my local running club, and spending time in the garden.

Lessons

Two types of lessons are available: PRONUNCIATION COACHING to develop clear, confident speech, and CONVERSATION-BASED SESSIONS that use books, articles, and real-life topics to build fluency and self-expression.

Some book and language lovers start with one lesson to get a feel for my style. Others prefer a bundle so they can see bigger progress in less time. You choose what feels right for you.
